A person was killed and a number of different individuals injured at a Maryland comfort retailer close to Washington, D.C. on Saturday evening, police stated.
Officers with the Prince George’s County Police Division had been dispatched to a 7-Eleven in Maryland at 8 p.m. on reviews of a capturing, the company said.
Police didn’t present an actual affected person rely, however police Cpl. Distinctive Jones stated a person who was struck was pronounced useless at a hospital.
A number of others had been hospitalized in unknown situation for trauma associated to gunshot wounds, police stated.
The capturing occurred in Prince George’s County, simply east of Washington.
The chain didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
The capturing was beneath investigation and police had been reviewing safety video and interviewing witnesses, Jones stated.
Nobody was in custody within the capturing Saturday evening and the motive was instantly clear, police stated.
“Detectives are on scene trying to develop a suspect(s) and motive,” the division tweeted.
