Two law enforcement officials had been killed and one was in critical situation after an in a single day capturing in Bristol, Connecticut, police stated.
The Connecticut State Police announced at round 3:30 a.m. ET it was investigating an officer-involved capturing in Bristol, about 20 miles southwest of Hartford, with accidents reported.
In a later tweet, it stated three officers had been concerned within the incident because the division cautioned that the scene was “nonetheless very lively and fluid.”
Simply over two hours later, police introduced that two of the officers had been fatally shot, with one significantly injured.
“We ask your ideas and prayers be with the households, the officer and all these impacted,” state police stated.
The division didn’t present additional particulars on the circumstances of the capturing or whether or not any suspects had been recognized or arrested.
