4 folks have been killed and eight have been hospitalized with various accidents following a shuttle van crash Friday morning on New Jersey’s Palisades Interstate Parkway, officers stated.
The crash was reported shortly earlier than 1:30 a.m. within the middle median of the southbound lanes in Englewood Cliffs, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police stated.
The van, listed as a Ford Econoline E350 passenger cargo van with New York registration, had 12 folks on board, police stated.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found “a single car accident rollover” and stated a number of passengers have been trapped within the car.
Rescue and first support operations started instantly after officers arrived.
4 passengers “suffered extreme trauma” and have been pronounced useless on the scene, police stated in a information launch.

The reason for the accident is below investigation by parkway police, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Felony Investigation and the Bergen County Prosecutors Workplace Deadly Accident Unit.
Police stated in a information launch that southbound lanes of the Palisades Interstate Parkway are closed at exit 2 and all visitors is being diverted to the southbound lanes of Route 9W.
