Atlanta parents charged with infant daughter’s murder

The dad and mom of a kid discovered useless by Atlanta police now face homicide fees.

Officers say on Aug. 10, officers have been referred to as to a house on the 2200 block of Beecher Highway after reviews of an unresponsive toddler.

Medics rushed the newborn woman to a close-by hospital, the place it was pronounced useless.

After an investigation, officers say they realized that the kid’s accidents have been in line with inflicted trauma and secured arrest warrants for each the mom and father.

On Aug. 18, officers arrested 23-year-old Zion Byrd and 20-year-old Deshan Turner and charged them with homicide and cruelty to kids for the loss of life of their baby.

“Might the newborn, who was denied its full life, relaxation in everlasting peace,” an APD spokesman mentioned in an announcement.

Byrd and Turner are each in custody on the Fulton County Jail.
