The conservative Congressional Management Fund, a gaggle aligned with Home Minority Chief Kevin McCarthy, is out with three new adverts this week attacking Reps. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., and Jahana Hayes, D-Conn.
In Connecticut’s fifth District, the group has two adverts. One calls out “Washington” saying it is “out of contact, would not hear.”
The ad backs Hayes’ Republican opponent, former State Sen. George Logan.
“We’d like somebody on our facet. George Logan, he is an engineer, a small enterprise proprietor, husband, father, son of immigrants,” the narrator within the advert says.
The second ad blasts Hayes, calling her “out of contact.”
“Jayana Hayes wasted a whole bunch of thousands and thousands that went to pet initiatives for the elite, whereas the remainder of us paid the value,” a narrator tells viewers, citing Hayes’ vote on the American Rescue Plan, a Covid reduction invoice handed in 2021.
Hayes is in search of her third time period on this district and the non-partisan Cook dinner Political Report rates this race, “Lean Democratic.”
In Michigan, CLF is out with one ad within the state’s seventh District, calling Slotkin a “weak partisan.”
“Elissa Slotkin talks huge … however folds each time,” a narrator within the advert tells viewers.”
He provides, “She’s voted with Biden 100%, did not arise as soon as.”
Like Hayes, Slotkin is in search of a 3rd time period in Congress and is dealing with Republican state Sen. Tom Barrett in November. The Cook dinner Political Report rates the race as “Toss Up.”
