Las Vegas police catch inmate who escaped prison while serving life for fatal bombing

Las Vegas police have apprehended a person who escaped jail earlier this week whereas serving a life sentence for a lethal 2007 explosion outdoors a Las Vegas Strip resort.

Porfirio Duarte-Herrera, 42, was taken into custody by patrol officers “with out incident,” the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division stated in a tweet at round 10:30 p.m. native time Wednesday (1:30 a.m. ET Thursday.)
