DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – After a 3 and a half hour standoff, a SWAT standoff in DeKalb County Wednesday afternoon ended with a peaceable decision.
Jason Travis Williams was arrested on costs of terroristic threats and acts.
DeKalb County police stated the standoff started when the sheriff’s workplace requested assist serving a warrant to arrest a person wished for terroristic threats at a house in Lithonia.
Deputies reporting to the scene say Williams barricaded himself in the home situated at 1976 Longwood Court docket and refused to come back out.
The standoff started someday between midday and 1 p.m. and ended round 6:20 p.m., in response to a DeKalb County Police Division spokesperson.
