WASHINGTON — The founding father of the far-right Oath Keepers group is ready to testify in his personal protection at his seditious conspiracy trial on Friday.
Stewart Rhodes is on trial together with Kelly Meggs, Kenneth Harrelson, Jessica Watkins and Thomas Caldwell in reference to their actions surrounding the assault on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The federal government rested its case on Thursday with out calling cooperating witnesses who pleaded responsible to seditious conspiracy.
