About 2:45 p.m. Monday, police and firefighters had been known as to the 400 block of Orchard Ridge Drive. They discovered the automotive and townhouses on fireplace, Montgomery County Hearth Chief Scott Goldstein mentioned from the scene.
Firefighters attacked the flames and located a driver contained in the automotive, Goldstein mentioned. They pressured their manner into the BMW and eliminated Victor Cascella, who was taken to a hospital in important situation, officers mentioned.
Cascella later died on the hospital.

Preliminarily, police mentioned in an announcement, Cascella was driving southbound on Orchard Ridge when, for unknown causes, the automotive “crossed over the middle median, left the roadway and crashed into the townhouse residences of 432 and 434 Orchard Ridge Drive. The BMW and constructing engulfed in flames, damaging each residences in addition to 430 and 428 Orchard Ridge Drive.”
